El uso del que nos ocuparemos para hacer el ejercicio es el del verbo GUSTAR.

she likes           a ella le gusta
it likes              a esto le gusta

Afirmativo              You like..........
Negativo                You don't like.........
Interrogativo           Do you like?

En español ocurre un fenomeno que al estudiar español se llama "the hidden pronoun", el pronombre escondido. Este fenomeno es que no decimos los pronombres o los escondemos.

Les gusta jugar. ¿vas a jugar? Le gusta jugar!

Si observas en las tres declaraciones no ponemos el pronombre. En ingles no sucede esto por lo que tienes que poner el pronombre que corresponde.

A ellos les gusta jugar.          They like to play.  
Vas tu a jugar?                     Are you going to play?
Le gusta jugar a el.               He likes to play

Ahora hagamos unos ejercicios.

Haz una pregunta con el verbo like y responde en afirmativo y negativo, ejemplo:

Apple-         
Do you like apples?
Yes, I like apples.
No, I don't like apples.

Ahora ve los siguientes tutoriales acerca del auxiliar CAN y CAN'T.

Como habras visto el auxilirar CAN no puede por si solo usarse como verbo. Debe estar antes de los verbos principales y se ubica como el verbo auxiliar DO  y el verbo TO BE. 


Can expresa abilidad tambien expresa diferentes otras modalidades que veremos mas adelante.
El pasado de CAN es COULD.
En negativo CAN NOT  se contrae en CAN'T.




interrogativo              Can + subject + main verb
afirmativo                    subject + CAN + main verb
negativo                      subject + CAN + not + main verb


Ahora forma preguntas en interrogativo,afirmativo y negativo.
ejemplo:    read - he  
                  Can he read?
                  Yes, he can read.
                 No, he can not read. (can't)  * nota que se puede contraer
